Over time, the load wheels on a pallet jack can wear down, making it harder to move pallets smoothly. On this Crown pallet jack, the wheels had developed flat spots and have fallen off the bearing, so they cam to us for a replacement. First, we raised the pallet jack slightly to take the weight off the wheel. We then located and removed the retaining pin that holds the wheel assembly in place. Once the pin was out, the old wheel slid off the axle. the wheel and the bearing is all worn out, and axle als have grime buildup., so we removed them and installed new bearings into the replacement wheel to ensure smooth rotation.
